We are buzzing to have been invited by the incomparable Super Furry Animals, to open for them as part of a fantastic bill at York Museum Gardens in July.

The Furries are a band we all grew up with. I remember buying Rings Around the World on week of release and wearing SFA shirts to 6th Form. They’re a real role model band for us, and so we’re overjoyed to get to share a stage with them after 25 years of being fans!

We never get asked to do anything cool or interesting by other bands, so are especially grateful to SFA for having us along for this to play a massive stage. First time in York since Fibbers (RIP) in 2010!
